Getting Started

A sound card is required to use the program. The software will automatically detect the installed sound devices on your computer.
Please ensure that the sound card and drivers are installed and enabled before you open the program.
Please ensure that the sound card software is correctly set-up and connected to an audio system.
A run-time engine is part of the installation.
Please ensure that the program is fully functional and compatible with your PC and sound card before purchasing an activation code.

Please perform the following basic steps to use the metronome:

Before you open the program please ensure that the sound card is enabled and connected to an audio system.
Open Tone Metronome by selecting Programs/nvhsoftware/Tone Metronome 2.0 from the Windows button.
Choose a sound device from the Device dialog box located at the bottom of the screen.
Open one of the preset patterns by left clicking with the mouse on the Open button.
Adjust the tempo in the Rate dialog box located in the Metronome Tab Window.
Click on the Start button to activate the metronome.
The rhythm is indicated in a Rhythm Indicator and the beat is displayed in a Beat Indicator.
You can modify the rhythm pattern in the matrix by clicking on individual cells to activate or deactivate a particular drum.
The modified pattern can be saved by clicking on the Save As button at the top of the window.
