Guitar Tuning
In order to tune your guitar please follow the these steps:
- Connect the guitar cord to the microphone jack of the sound card (3.5 mm adaptor might be require) or hold the guitar close to a microphone connected to the sound card.
- The needle of the gauge indicates the frequency of the plugged string in the meter or slide gauge.
- The indicator below the gauge on the right-hand side shows the precise tuned frequency of musical note received from the guitar.
- The indicator below the gauge on the left-hand side shows the frequency of the plugged string from the guitar.
- The musical note created by the string is displayed below the needle.
- Adjusted the machine head so that the needle moves to the middle of the slide or meter.
- When the guitar frequency approach the tuned frequency of the note the needle changes color from blue to yellow and a yellow arrow appears above the needle.
- For example if you want to tune the top string of the guitar to produce an E note, plug the string and tune the machine head up or down until the needle is in the middle of the slide or meter and fine tune it until the needle tuns yellow and a yellow arrow appears above the needle. This indicates that the string is tuned within and accuracy chosen in the Accuracy (%) control box.
- The tuning accuracy can be adjusted in the control box located in the top right-hand side of the screen.
