Front Panel

The Front Panel consists of a menu at the top of the screen with Help options. The gauge on the Front Panel indicates the frequency of the plugged string or musical note pressed on the guitar fret board. The musical note is indicated below the needle and indicators below the gauge show the guitar frequency and theoretical tuned frequency of the musical note.

The following controls appear at the top of the screen:

Gauge: Choose between a meter or a slide display for the gauge.
Sound Device: Choose the sound device you want to use for the tuning of your guitar.
Accuracy (%): Accuracy of the guitar frequency compared to the theoretical tuned frequency of the musical note. The needle of the gauge turns yellow and an arrow appears above the needle when the guitar frequency is within this tolerance.

The following indicators appear at the bottom of the screen:

Note Frequency: Theoretical tuned frequency of the musical note played on the guitar.
Guitar Frequency: Guitar signal frequency.

The following buttons appear at the bottom of the screen:

Signal: Selecting this button with the mouse open a window displaying the guitar time signal and frequency spectrum
Quite: Close the program
Restart: This button is used to reset the tuner if stopped by a device error.

Device Error: Device error is indicated by the opening of a warning Window, click Ok and please check your sound device settings and drivers. Click the blinking Restart button after you have made the appropriate adjustments to the sound card software or device drivers. Otherwise close the program and restart it. The indicator displays Device OK when the device is working properly.
