Front Panel

The Front Panel consists of a Start/Stop button positioned in the top left-hand corner of the screen to start and stop the analysis. Choose between FFT and Octave Analysis by clicking with the mouse in the dialog box at the top above the graphs. Installed sound devices are displayed in a dialog box at the top of the window to the right of the Start/Stop button. A Tab Window is available for each analysis to change signal processing parameters and graph properties. A Menu bar is located at the top of the screen with File and Help options and averaging process is indicated in the progress bar below the Tab Window. A Time History and Frequency Spectrum are present for the FFT analysis and an Octave Graph and overall levels are shown for octave analysis.

Note: The ability to move and resize the screen dependent on the processing resources of you computer. The analysis may stop at high FFT resolutions and wide frequency spans for octave analysis. Please move or resize the screen and Start analysis again.
