Settings

The Device Tab Window is displayed by selecting the Device button in the Tool Bar.

The following settings are available:

• Device: A list of the active sound devices that are enabled for the computer
• Calibration Ratio: A ratio can be specified to calibrate amplitudes

The table at the bottom of the Tab Window displays the Device Information in terms of Sampling Rate and Bit Rate.

Please take note of the following information concerning sound cards:

• Before you open the program please ensure that the sound card is enabled and that the source input is selected where the microphone is plugged in.
• Don't disconnect an external sound card while the program is opened, this may lock the program.
• Always exit the program before an additional sound card is connected to your computer to ensure that it is displayed in the Sound Device list box.
• It may be necessary to restart your computer when an additional external sound device is connected.
